Our story
We didn't move here for the market. We grew up here.
Evident was founded in October 2017 by Paul Adams, born and raised in Modesto, after years spent in restaurants, retail, and restaurant software. The idea was simple: local businesses deserved a payments partner who would answer the phone, explain the fees, and show up when something broke.
Almost nine years later, that's still the whole plan.
"Great company, and the manager Paul is the best, always checking if everything is fine."
